Bashosho Talents CBO is proud to share the success of our “Share a Meal with Turkana” initiative! On December 12th, 2022, we partnered with the poet Cricket Writes, a great friend and supporter of our work, to deliver essential aid to 60 families in Kagitankori village, Turkana County.
This project, envisioned by Cricket Writes, aligned perfectly with our commitment to humanitarian activities. We dedicated over two months to mobilizing funds through artistic expression, raising a total of Ksh 90,000. These funds were used solely to purchase dry foodstuffs and clothes for the families in need.
Beyond the aid itself, our trip served another important purpose. We used our artistic platform to spread messages of love and mental health awareness during church tours. The warm welcome we received from these churches underscored the power of art to connect and inspire positive action.
This impactful collaboration between Bashosho Talents CBO and Cricket Writes demonstrates our unwavering dedication to supporting communities in need. We are grateful to all who contributed to this initiative’s success!
