At Bashosho Talents CBO, we believe in the transformative power of storytelling. We are excited to announce our latest project, “Kenda,” a short film created to address the critical issue of gender-based violence (GBV). This initiative is made possible through the generous funding of Africa Uncensored in partnership with the Institute for War & Peace Reporting (IWPR) as part of their Voices for Change (V4C) project.
The “Kenda” project is a one-month endeavor that aims to amplify the voices of those affected by GBV and to foster a deeper understanding of this pressing issue within our community. Through artistic expression, we aim to spark conversations, raise awareness, and inspire action against GBV.
Our team has been hard at work, and the journey has been both challenging and rewarding, and we are eager to bring this important story to life.
To give you a glimpse of what’s to come, we have created a striking poster that encapsulates the essence of “Kenda.”

As we move forward, we invite you to join us in this mission. Your support is vital in helping us raise awareness and drive change within our communities. Together, we can create a safer and more equitable environment for all.
