Bashosho Talents CBO successfully concluded the first phase of its impactful “The Men We Want” program on October 5th, 2023. This two-month, one-week-per-month mentorship program targeted young boys aged 12-17 in Kiambiu slum. With a vision of empowering over a thousand boys in just two years, “The Men We Want” tackles mental health and challenges negative societal expectations placed on young men.
The program’s first phase saw the graduation of 25 young champions. This wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of Bashosho Talents CBO’s team, who generously volunteered their professional skills. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all well-wishers, financial supporters, and especially the parents who entrusted their sons to the program and celebrated their graduation.
